MANAGING CHANGE AND DEVELOPING A CHANGE-READY TEAM

"What looks like resistance is often a lack of clarity. Teams resist when they do not understand the changes that are approaching. This often leads to poorer performance, lower morale and higher turnover. Being clear about the impact of the change to your team is a key step to preparing for it. This workshop is designed to support managers and business representatives who are currently undergoing or preparing themselves and their team for business change. It provides a structured approach to help managers become more effective in managing and implementing change initiatives. Specifically, participants will be exposed to frameworks and processes that prepares and enables change, as well as learn techniques to lead and engage their teams during the transition period. The workshop’s unique blend of classroom teaching, simulation exercises, case studies and practical sharing allow opportunities for participants to develop innovative ways of connecting people to implement change and help managers develop teams to adapt and be change ready. At the end of the programme, the participants will be able to: • Understand the importance of their role as managers in ensuring the team is prepared and ready for the change ahead • Learn how to prepare their team for change and identify sources of resistance • Develop actionable plans to manage their team’s change journey and desired change experience • Build knowledge and capabilities in enabling and sustaining change"
