Professional Certificate in Human and Automated Managerial Skills

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences offers the Professional Certificate in Human and Automated Managerial Skills. This Professional Certificate aims to empower individuals with the skills to effectively lead and manage a team in a variety of situations. This is accomplished through five courses aimed at developing and enriching both the learner’s mind and heart: (1) To tap on the individual’s experiences and strengths to develop resilience and the personal leadership abilities so as to discover one’s personal mission and to firmly pursue it with conviction. This allows one to lead with impact and inspire others in the process. (2) Learn foundational concepts and skills to carry out basic data analysis on Microsoft Excel and create simple yet powerful algorithmic solutions to tackle complex real-world problems, be it manually or automatically with computers, thereby giving the individual deep insights to strategically plan and manage both people and resources effectively. (3) Learn critical reasoning skills to effectively evaluate these operational strategies to identify potential shortcomings, and the insights to improve them. This certificate is part of the SGUS programme that is offered by National University of Singapore and participant will complete the 5 courses in a month.
