Child Interventions in Clinical Psychology

This course introduces participants to the fundamentals of child interventions in Clinical Psychology. It equips participants with skills in evidence-based interventions and simple clinical treatment protocols (including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and parenting training) consistent with assessment and grounded in case formulation. Participants will also learn to recognise different types and levels of crisis in intervention and develop crisis assessment and intervention skills. Finally, participants will also develop interpersonal and relational skills that are the bedrock of professional psychology practice.
