Graduate Certificate in Advanced Pharmacy Practice (Competence)

The Graduate Certificate in Advanced Pharmacy Practice is a short 8-unit (U) certificate programme that caters to the continuing education needs of young pharmacists, who are preparing for role expansion to advanced-level clinical practice in community-based patient care settings. Students are allowed up to 3 years to complete this programme which is available in the part-time mode. The graduate certificate courses will introduce skills for patient assessment, clinical evaluation and decision-making, as well as communication required of pharmacists at advanced level of pharmacy practice in collaborative direct patient care services alongside other healthcare professionals. The required courses include: PR5134 Advanced Skills in Pharmacy Practice (4 U)PR5135 Foundations in Advanced Pharmacy Practice (4 U).
