Data Protection Stakeholder Engagement

With more business pushing for digital transformation, there is a greater need for stronger Data Protection (DP) capability in businesses. Professionals and executives who are appointed as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) need to be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to carry out their functions in order to comply with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). It is important for the DPO to be able to effectively engage both the internal and external stakeholders so that they can all play their part in promoting good DP practices within the organisation.
