NUS Information Technology Internship (Summer 2023)

Completed an internship at NUS Information Technology (May to Jul 2023). Worked on the Design of uNivUS Web Portal project described below: A part of NUS Information Technology vision is to spearhead the development of a technology-infused environment on campus and provide a comprehensive application, computing and networking infrastructure to enable the University community to fully harness IT for effective teaching, learning, research and administration. uNivUS, NUS integrated mobile platform, fits into NUS’s digital transformation by adopting a mobile-first approach in providing an integrated end-to-end platform to deliver essential services and information that a student would need. This project aims to design the web version of uNivUS to take on the omni-channel approach to create better user experience for the NUS community. Over the course of the internship, the intern has been involved in the fulfillment of the below: • Collaborate with product managers and developers to conceptualize and implement UI/UX solutions of the uNivUS platform from the user’s perspective. • Develop wireframes & UI mockups to illustrate design ideas. • Conduct UX research & propose UX improvements. • Improve and optimize existing UI designs. • Create UI assets for the application.
