Paediatric Refraction and Myopia Management Course: Insights and Hands-on Workshops for Community Optometrists (Lectures Only)

This short course aims to equip optometrists with essential knowledge and skills in the areas of paediatric refraction and myopia management. You will learn about the visual development in children and their expected refractive power based on age. You will develop effective communication skills while examining paediatric patients and advising parents on their children's myopia. You will also understand the important indicators of myopia progression and evaluate refractive error using cycloplegic and non- cycloplegic fogging refractive methods in real patients. The course training includes three online Zoom lectures and two hands-on workshops. A Certificate of Completion will be issued to learners who complete the full course, while a Certificate of Attendance will be issued to learners who complete the lectures component only.
