NUS Information Technology Internship (Summer 2023)

Completed an internship at NUS Information Technology (May to Jul 2023). Worked on the Procurement Data Lake for Data Analytics project described below: NUS IT is looking to build a repository to store procurement data for our data warehousing project. The team’s focus will be the extraction of data from different procurement data sources to the procurement data lake. This project aims to develop an in-house procurement analytics solution. This includes the set-up of the bronze tier (raw data) in the Procurement Data Lake, ingestion of historical & ongoing procurement data and building of the dashboard using Power BI. Over the course of the internship, the intern has been involved in the fulfillment of the below: • Understanding Ariba APIs • Mapping the fields from source systems to NUS reporting fields • Perform the testing
