Foundations in Clinical Practice

The demand for evidence-based interventions to address mental health difficulties in adults and youth has outpaced available community services. This workshop is designed for community workers assigned to mild and moderate mental health cases to deepen their expertise in Clinical Practice while working with adult and youth populations. Participants will explore basic psychological theories, practice counselling skills and motivational interviewing, and discuss ethical practices in mental health. The training will emphasize hands-on learning through active participation in role-play exercises, discussion groups, etc. to refine their knowledge and skills in clinical practice and apply it to their respective contexts.
