Worked on the Development of uNivUS mini-program framework project described below:
uNivUS, NUS integrated mobile platform, fits into NUS’s digital transformation by adopting a mobile-first approach in providing an integrated end-to-end platform to deliver essential services and information that a student would need. In this project, we will be developing a MVP for the uNivUS mini-program framework, providing a foundation for the creation, deployment, and management of lightweight applications within the uNivUS ecosystem. The successful development of the framework will contribute to the growth and innovation within the uNivUS ecosystem, empowering developers (NUS citizen developers/ departments) to create engaging and diverse mini applications. This framework aims to be a key enabler for the expansion of the uNivUS platform by providing a scalable and user-friendly environment for mini-program development
Over the course of the internship, the intern has:
- Gained hands-on experience in developing a Mini-program Framework, learning essential programming languages, and understanding the nuances of app development
- Engaged in a real-world development environment, collaborating with experienced tech leads and product owners
- Developed effective communication skills by participating in regular team meetings, status updates, and collaborative problem-solving sessions
- Learned and applied Agile methodologies in the software development lifecycle
- Gained experience in identifying and resolving technical challenges
- Developed the ability to present and demonstrate the project deliverables, showcasing features and functionalities to stakeholders
