Teach Singapore

Teach Singapore (Teach SG) is a university-wide initiative aimed to involve NUS students to provide academic coaching and mentoring to children and youth from disadvantaged families. Criteria met by badge earner: - Completed at least 80% of the mentoring sessions required. - Planned and facilitated enrichment activities for young learners. - Conducted academic coaching sessions for young learners. What the badge earner can do: - Plans fun and engaging activities suited to the needs of the young learners. - Uses strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and trusted relationships with young learners. - Delivers learning content and enrichment activities in both online and physical settings, using multiple delivery modes and methods. - Assesses learning needs and adapts the mentoring approach to address desired learning outcomes and learners’ needs.
