'Cloud computing is an attractive paradigm for costefficiency and management flexibility which brings inseveral benefits for Internet of Things (IoT). This courseprovides a comprehensive treatment of the concept andtechniques related to cloud-based services for IoTapplications. It first briefly reviews IoT basics and thendiscusses cloud computing and request models that canbe used for IoT. It also introduces network functionvirtualization (NFV), orchestration, and IoT Gateway.Tutorial and hands-on will be provided to the students toacquire practical experience in working with cloudplatforms and use/test the cloud-based services for IoTapplications.'
