Measuring and Managing Quality of Care (Competence)

'This course provides an introduction to the concepts andtechniques used to measure and improve the quality ofhealthcare. It will address current concerns with patientsafety and medical errors, and explore systemicapproaches to harm reduction. Participants will understandthe methodologies and instruments for the measurementof quality in healthcare, including clinical outcomeindicators, healthcare professionals� performancemeasurement and patient satisfaction surveys. Strategiesfor managing quality, including the tools for continuousquality improvement in healthcare organisations, will bepresented.'
