'This graduate certificate of competence is awarded to candidates who have read the core and two primary field courses of the Applied and Public History graduate programme, obtaining a Grade Point Average of 2.50 and above. The certificate programme in Applied and Public History trains candidates to employ history as a framework and mode of inquiry to think about and address issues in the private and public sectors of the economy and society.
