This short course was designed to introduce students with the conceptual understanding and technical skills to develop a Market Access Strategy for MedTech. At the end of the 5-day course, participants were able to:
1. Navigate complex market access pathways and shape policies to address barriers and opportunities, specific to MedTech (vs. pharmaceuticals)
2. Develop a market access strategy including reimbursement strategy and stakeholder engagement, with real-life case studies and deep-dives in key APAC markets
3. Define a robust value proposition and dossier to support market access
4. Outline an evidence generation strategy, including real-world evidence (RWE) and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR)
5. Value-based healthcare, pricing & procurement, and ecosystem shaping
