Cataract Detection and Post Surgery Care Course: Insights and Hands-On Workshops for Community Optometrists (Lectures Only)

This four-half-day course aims to equip community optometrists with essential knowledge and skills in the areas of cataract detection and post-cataract surgery management. Learners will learn to identify cataract patients using appropriate clinical assessment methods, obtain effective and informative communication skills on pre-cataract surgery counselling, gain insights on postoperative examinations and appreciate the different refractive and prescribing approaches for post-cataract surgery patients. The full course training includes two online Zoom lectures and two hands-on workshops. An e-Certificate of Completion will issued to learners who complete the full course, while an E-Certificate of Attendance will be issued to learners attending the lectures component only.
