The Business China Advanced Leaders Programme (ALP) is an exclusive apex programme that provides an immersive opportunity to gain a firsthand understanding of China. By comprehensively addressing the complex dynamics between social, political, economic and cultural factors that fuelled China’s rapid developments, ALP offers a holistic and immersive learning experience—providing knowledge, culture and connections for participants. Combining academic context with experiential learning, the programme is specially curated by the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Executive Education on expert-led seminars and Business China on an immersive learning trip to China. The curriculum is also designed to promote interaction amongst a diverse mix of participants and their China counterparts. The objectives are to:
nurture China-savvy and China-ready business leaders, through enhancing their ability to conduct engagement and business with China;
equip business leaders with a political lens and an insider’s perspective of the Chinese enterprise psyche, business landscape, and economic paradigm through an integrated approach of in-depth academic sessions, plus a market trip to different parts of China.
