What is Quantum Computing

Almost every electronic device we use today are examples of how quantum physics has impacted our lives. The second quantum revolution has been the talk of many, and some forecast that the quantum industry will be a multibillion-dollar industry by 2030. This programme introduces quantum computing concepts, rooted in physics, and the applications of quantum computing in real life. Through this programme, students will be aware of the role of quantum computing in this digital age, e.g., encryption, and be exposed to applications and careers related to quantum computing, e.g., cyber security.
