The Global Engineering Programme (GEP) is a prestigious programme intended for students with exceptional potential and academic abilities. It provides an accelerated pathway and enhanced educational experience that develops a global perspective. Its objective is to nurture undergraduates into engineer-leaders of the future. Students are required to complete their undergraduate studies in 3 years, instead of the typical 4 years required of other students, while maintaining highest levels of academic excellence.

This certificate is awarded to students who successfully completed the E-Scholar Programme at the National University of Singapore. This programme is designed to train and develop engineer-leaders out of the brightest students in the Faculty of Engineering. As graduates of this programme, they should be well-trained and equipped with the skills and discipline required of leaders in the industry.
For holistic development, students are given the opportunity to reside in a Residential College as part of either the University Town College Programme or University Scholars Programme. These are multidisciplinary programmes where students are exposed to topics outside of their majors and learn together within a college community. Students are provided with priority for overseas opportunities, such as joining NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC), which encourages them to broaden their horizons and hone their entrepreneurial skills.
