Child Assessments in Clinical Psychology

This course takes a comprehensive approach to teach the foundational abilities to collect data from informants, interpret psychological instruments, and write an integrative report under supervision. Participants will go through the conduct of clinical interviews, conduct of school and/or home observations, and interpretation of common child assessment tools in cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioural domains. Participants will also learn to interpret assessment reports under supervision for educational recommendations and placements.
