Asian Undergraduate Symposium 2023

The Asian Undergraduate Symposium (AUS) is a two-week programme hosted by NUS College (NUSC), National University of Singapore (NUS), involving tertiary students from Singapore and undergraduates from universities in ASEAN. Participants engaged with domain experts, were trained in project proposal writing, and nudged to collaborate with each other to propose projects based upon one of their chosen problem statements guided by the theme of AUS 2023 - Interconnected Communities. Initiated in 2015, AUS aimed to build a platform for undergraduates across Asia from various disciplines to come together and engage in meaningful academic and intercultural exchange. It evolves to the current model where it takes the original AUS forward by both ensuring that meaningful academic and intercultural exchange remains while establishing a more focused catchment of ASEAN undergraduates and empowering students to actualise proposed solutions to real-world problems.
