Smart City: Envisioning Smart Urban IoT Solutions and Emerging Technologies Management

"In order to utilise the capabilities of IoT within the Smart Nation, it is important to be able to envision suitable applications and to be equipped with knowledge of being able to use practices such as Service Design to conceptualise solutions to real world challenges in a user-centric manner. This course will discuss the concept and evolution of Digital Economy, enabled by Big Data, Analytics and IoT – to make better decisions, open and seamless access to information and promote innovation. The course will also discuss Singapore’s digital economy framework, from stragey to action. It will build participant skills and knowledge in the areas of fostering collaboration, co-creation, transformational change, planning, leadership and leveraging of technology in order to design, innovate and deliver successful integrated programmes that delivers digitally-enabled end-to-end citizen services, promotes businesses and enhances quality of citizen’s lives. The course will also explore and discuss the current state of digital economy in the delegates’ countries, as well as in the ASEAN region and beyond."
