Graduate Certificate in Data Mining for Industry (Competence)

The Graduate Certificate in Data Mining for Industry provides students with primary training in algorithms/statistic methods of data mining, including association rules, clustering, classification, anomaly detection, visualization, as well as exposure to processing large and complex datasets for extracting implicit, unknown and useful knowledge. Students are required to pass CS5228 and ST5227: - CS5288 Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining - ST5227 Applied Data Mining with a GPA of at least 2.50 within a period of not more than 24 months.
