Humanity and Social Science

This short course runs over six weeks and addresses the following societal challenges: 1) ensuring prosperity from a sustainable perspective; 2) addressing educational needs in the context of population mobility; 3) ensuring capacity building in the face of the 4th industrial revolution which brings fast-paced adoption of technology across all sectors, 4) ensuring effective public policy making while keeping in mind ethical considerations; and 5) protecting the planet through proactive policy making towards disaster risk reduction. This module is designed to motivate participants to think in multidisciplinary way, from the perspective of both the public and the private sectors.
