Robotics Process Automation Begins with Me (Power Automate Desktop)

Robotics Process Automation (RPA) uses software “robots” to automate high-volume repetitive tasks that humans usually do. RPA can be used to deal with payroll or the paperwork for onboarding new employees, to automatically aggregate quarterly or annual reports, to keep track of product pricing, and for inventory control. By automating processes that are manual, repetitive and rule-based, RPA solutions can yield greater productivity and consistency, create efficiency, and reduce costs. Internal processes common in many sectors (such as banking, retail, tech and government) that can benefit from RPA include HR, IT services, supply chain, finance and accounting, and customer management. There are a number of great RPA software options; in this course we use Microsoft’s Power Automate Desktop.
