The Engineering Scholars (E-Scholars) Programme is a prestigious programme intended for students with exceptional potential and academic abilities. It provides an accelerated pathway and enhanced educational experience that develops a global perspective. Its objective is to nurture undergraduates into engineer-leaders of the future. Students are expected to complete their undergraduate studies in 3 years, instead of the typical 4 years required of other students, while maintaining highest levels of academic excellence. For holistic development, students are given opportunities to participate in Residential programmes where they are exposed to topics beyond their majors and learn within a college community. They are also provided overseas learning opportunities, such as joining NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) and student exchange programmes.
